12-Year-Old Girl From Region Has Been Missing For Nearly Week
Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a Hudson Valley girl who has been missing for nearly a week. Miamor Rivera, 12, of Poughkeepsie, was last seen on Saturday, Jan. 25, according to Poughkeepsie Police. She may have traveled to New Paltz or Middletown, police said. Rivera’s nose and ears are pierced, and she may wear glasses. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Poughkeepsie Police Department at 845-451-4000. Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler announced on Friday, Nov. 1, that Lynn T. Simpson, age 43, of Wallkill, pled guilty to grand larceny in the Third Degree in connection with the theft of $17,947 from the parade fund of the Washington Heights Fire Company in Middletown.
