Actor Willem Dafoe Lists Property In Hudson Valley He Purchased In 2008 A Hudson Valley property owned by one of Hollywood's biggest names is up for sale. Popular actor Willem Dafoe is listing the residence in the Hudson Valley hamlet of High Falls, located west of I-87 in Ulster County, for $1.275 million, according to the Robb Report. The 68-year-old Dafoe purchased the 1-acre property for $400,000 in 2008.  Dafoe has been nominated for four Academy Awards, with the first coming in 1986 for Best Supporting Actor in Oliver Stone's war film "Platoon." 'He Was A Self-Starter': Teen Killed In Hit-Run Westchester Crash Remembered As Hard Worker A popular Westchester teen who was killed by an alleged hit-and-run driver is being remembered as a self-started and hard worker. Christopher Jack “CJ” Hackett, age 16, of Yonkers, died on Thursday, Aug. 4, after being struck while riding his scooter on McLean Avenue in Yonkers on Wednesday, Aug. 3. Born in White Plains, and raised in Yonkers, CJ was about to begin his junior year at Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, said his obituary.
