Alert Issued For 32-Year-Old Woman Who's Gone Missing In Hudson Valley A 32-year-old woman has gone missing in the region and authorities are asking the public's help in locating her. New York State Police in Sullivan County from Troop F in Liberty are attempting to locate Jennifer E. Bruning, who was last seen in the hamlet of Barryville, adding that her welfare is currently a concern.  Bruning has ties to Orange County (Port Jervis and Newburgh).  Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact NYSP Liberty at 845-344-5300. Trooper Shoots Man Who Aimed Vehicle At Officer In Region, Police Say A 63-year-old man was shot once by a New York State trooper after he allegedly drove toward a police officer at a high rate of speed after threatening them with a gun.  The incident occurred in Sullivan County around 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, at two locations on Route 97. Facebook Marketplace Sting Nabs Deadbeat Dad From Region, Police Say A man from the region was nabbed for allegedly not paying more than $8,700 in child support when he posted items for sale on Facebook Marketplace. Sullivan County resident Marcus Molnar, age 46, of Barryville, was arrested on Saturday, Feb. 24, for failure to pay child support. Undersheriff Eric Chaboty of the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office said Molnar is alleged to owe over $8700 in child support payments and has been hiding out in Wayne County, Pennsylvania since September of 2023.  Deputies noticed recently that Molnar had placed a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a Porsc…

22-Year-Old Drowns While Rafting In Region A 22-year-old man from the region drowned while rafting over the weekend. The incident took. place Sullivan County around 3:10 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 27, in the town of Barryville. According to Trooper Steven Nevel, troopers responded to Indian Head Campgrounds in the town of Barryville for a report of a drowning.  A preliminary investigation revealed that New York City resident Brian J.
