39-Year-Old Capital Region Man Accused Of Possessing Child Porn A Capital District man was busted for allegedly possessing child pornography after State Police received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Albany resident Christopher Noto, 39, of Ravena, was charged on Friday, Oct. 11, with assistance from the Troop G Computer Crimes Unit, the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce, and the US Department of Homeland Security. Michael Kabler, age 49, who is homeless, was arrested Saturday, Oct. 7, after multiple agencies responded to a residential fire at the Sunset Trailer Park in Colonie, located on Central Avenue, at around 6 a.m. According to Colonie Police, investigators determined that Kabler was responsible for the fire and had been squatting in the trailer. In Albany County, police and fire crews in Colonie were called at around 12:30 a.m. Monday, June 5, with reports of a brush fire in the traffic roundabout at Albany Shaker and Maxwell roads. Suspect Punched Victim Unconscious During Robbery In Capital District, Police Say A 23-year-old Capital District man remains hospitalized in the intensive care unit after police said he was attacked during a robbery. Albany Police said the incident occurred shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday, July 30, near South Pearl and Schuyler streets. Officers were initially called with reports of a man with a weapon.
