American Airlines Mechanic Who Smuggled $250K Worth Of Cocaine On Flight Sentenced
An airplane mechanic from New York will spend nearly a decade behind bars for smuggling over 25 pounds of cocaine on an American Airlines plane. Long Island resident Paul Belloisi, age 56, of Smithtown, was sentenced to nine years in prison in Brooklyn federal court on Friday, Sept. 6, for possessing and importing cocaine. For the fourth time this year, security screeners stopped a man from carrying a loaded gun onto a plane at Albany International Airport. Agents made the discovery during a routine x-ray screening of the traveler’s carry-on bag Tuesday, Aug. 15, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced. 'Stiff Penalty' For Traveler Caught With Loaded Gun At Capital Region Airport
Security screeners stopped a man from carrying a loaded gun onto a plane at an airport in the region. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers made the discovery Monday, June 19, at Albany International Airport, the agency announced. During a routine X-ray screening, the Troy man was found to have a loaded .380 caliber gun inside his duffle bag along with his clothing.
