Recall Of 11.7M Pounds Of Meat, Poultry: List Released Of NY Schools That Received Products
A preliminary list has been released of schools that received items that were part of a nationwide recall of millions of pounds of meat and poultry products over fears they may be contaminated with Listeria.
The initial recall involving the manufacturer, Bruce Pac, was for 9,986,245 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) products sold at Walmart, Target, Amazon, Trader Joe's, 7-Eleven, Aldi, and other stores. It was announced on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

Northern Westchester Man Wins $5M In NY Lotto
Christmas came early for this lucky New York Lottery winner.
Northern Westchester County resident William Ciringione, of of Yorktown Heights, won big when he claimed his scratch-off prize, lottery officials announced on Thursday, Dec. 21.
The massive $5 million prize, which he won on the Cash X100 scratch-off game, was sold at the 7-Eleven, located at 1949 Commerce St. in Yorktown Heights.
Ciringione took his prize as a lump sum, totaling $3,255,000 after the required withholdings.

Ny-based LLC Claims $10M Lottery Prize
A Limited Liability Company that is based on Long Island has claimed a $10 million lottery prize.
KCCK Holdings, a Manhasset-based LLC, won the top prize from New York Lottery's "$10,000,000 Bonus" scratch-off game, the lottery announced on Thursday, Dec. 15.
The LLC received the prize as single, lump-sum payment of $6,510,000 after required withholdings, NY Lottery reported.
NY Lottery said the winning ticket was purchased at the 7-Eleven that is located at 158 Woodbury Road in Hicksville.
NY Man Wins $1,000 A Week Cash4Life Prize
A Long Island man has claimed a "$1,000 A Week For Life" lottery prize.
Suffolk County resident Marc Stenson, of West Babylon, claimed the second prize for matching the first five numbers drawn in the Dec. 25 CASH4LIFE game, the New York Lottery announced on Friday, April 29.
He chose to receive his prize as a single, lump-sum payment of $651,000 after required withholdings, the lottery reported.
Stenson told NY Lottery he had a "good feeling" after he claimed his ticket.
