69-Year-Old Woman Dies In Crash With Commercial Vehicle In Capital Region

A 69-year-old woman has died following a crash in the region Tuesday morning, Nov. 15, authorities said.

Emergency crews in Saratoga County were called at around 9:30 a.m. with reports of a crash on State Route 146 in Halfmoon, at the intersection of Farm to Market Road, State Police said.

A preliminary investigation found that Frances Fay, of Saratoga Springs, turned onto SR 146 from Farm to Market Road and was struck by a commercial vehicle that was traveling eastbound.

Fay was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

The driver of the commercial vehicle was not injured and remained at the scene.

State Police said the crash is still under investigation.
