Two men transporting a large quantity of narcotics on Interstate 87 were busted during a traffic stop in Rockland County, authorities announced.
The bust occurred on Friday, Feb. 28, when troopers stopped a 2019 Honda Pilot for a vehicle and traffic law violation in Ramapo, New York State Police announced on Saturday, March 1.
The driver, Robert Morales, 57, of Rensselaer, and his passenger, Irving Prado, 51, of the Bronx, were questioned at the scene when a K-9 officer alerted officers to possible drugs inside the vehicle, which led to a probable cause search, police said.
