Have you seen him? A man has been missing for nearly a month-and-a-half and New York State Police are asking the public's help in locating him. Michael A. Pitt, age 47, was last seen on Sunday, Sept. 1, upstate in the area of Livingston County. Police say he could possibly be traveling to New York City. He's described as being 5-foot-10, with blond, wavy, shoulder-length hair, and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a brown jacket and jeans. A Long Island man who was previously accused of exposing himself to a young girl is now charged with possessing child pornography. Jhonatan Fuentes, age 29, of East Meadow, was arrested Friday, Oct. 11, after an investigation revealed he was in possession of child pornography, Nassau County Police said. Authorities seized enough fentanyl to kill millions of people from the Long Island home of a major drug trafficker, prosecutors said. Remon Gibson, age 43, of Bellport, was indicted for operating as a major trafficker and related charges in Suffolk County Court on Wednesday, Oct. 9. A Long Island man wanted by police tried fleeing a traffic stop, injuring a sheriff’s deputy in the process, authorities said. The incident happened in Bohemia on Lincoln Avenue, at around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28. A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Long Island. The incident happened in Southampton, south of County Road 51 and Speonk Riverhead Road, at around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9.
