Combative Driver Injures Officer After Crash On Long Island, Police Say A man is accused of assaulting a police officer following a car crash on Long Island. The incident happened in Bellmore, near the intersection of Bellmore Avenue and Merrick Road, shortly before 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14. Nassau County Police said 63-year-old Charles Klimovich, of Bellmore, was involved in a car crash and refused to give officers his information to document the incident. Klimovich reportedly became combative and attempted to flee the scene. The investigation was conducted at SPA located in Bellmore at 2556 Merrick Road on Thursday, Sept. 5. It was determined illegal massages and prostitution were being conducted at this location, Nassau County Police said. Narcotics/Vice Squad detectives placed Jholdana Rojas, age 37, of Paterson, New Jersey, Youchun Zhang, age 49, of Bellmore, and Shaoyu Xiong, age 36, of Flushing, Queens, under arrest without incident.
