Dealer Nabbed After Overdoses, Complaints From Residents In Region: Police Following a day of recent drug overdoses in the region, a drug task force nabbed a dealer who was allegedly selling fentanyl and crack cocaine. Dutchess County resident Leonardo De La Cruz, age 25, of Poughkeepsie was charged on Monday, Oct. 7, with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell after complaints and tips from residents. Dutchess County resident Victor Smith, age 66, of Poughkeepsie, was charged on Thursday, Sept. 26 at his Poughkeepsie home. According to Det. Sgt. Fentanyl-Cocaine Dealers Nabbed In Region, Police Say Two alleged drug dealers were nabbed with fentanyl, cocaine, and a weapon following an investigation into narcotics sales in the area. The arrests occurred in Dutchess County on Thursday, Sept. 12, at a residence on Violet Avenue in Hyde Park. Drug Task Force Apprehends Fentanyl Dealer In Region A drug task force nabbed an alleged fentanyl dealer following an ongoing investigation in the region.
