Drunk Driver From Carmel Leads Officers On Short Chase In Region: Police
A 40-year-old drunk driver was apprehended after fleeing a traffic stop in the region, police said. The incident leading to the man's arrest began in Putnam County just before 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, when a Kent Police officer saw a vehicle driving erratically on Route 311, according to the department. Authorities raced to a Hudson Valley high school after an alarm was accidentally tripped, police said. The incident happened in Putnam County just after 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, when authorities responded to a lockdown alarm activation at Mahopac High School that indicated it was "not a drill," according to the Carmel Police Department. Missing 28-Year-Old From Region Found Safe
New Update: A 28-year-old Hudson Valley man who went missing after last being seen boarding a train in Northern Westchester has been found safe.
