28-Year-Old From Bayport ID'd After Fatal Southampton Crash A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Long Island. The incident happened in Southampton, south of County Road 51 and Speonk Riverhead Road, at around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9. Southampton Town Police said a motorcyclist was going southbound on County Road 51 when he crashed into a wooded area. 25-Year-Old Nabbed In Stabbing Of Man In Massapequa A suspect is behind bars following a stabbing attack on Long Island that sent a man to the hospital. The incident happened in Massapequa, near the intersection of Polo and Oxford roads, shortly after 11 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7.  Nassau County Police said a 22-year-old man and a 25-year-old man got into an argument before the older man stabbed the victim in his torso and arm.
