9 Students, 1 Adult Injured In Hudson Valley School Bus Crash Nine students and an adult were injured during a two-vehicle crash involving a school bus in the region. The crash occurred in Orange County around 9 a.m., Monday, Oct. 28, at the intersection of Route 52 and Route 17 in the town of Crawford. According to Crawford Police Chief Dominick Blasko, a 2021 Dodge truck was traveling eastbound in the eastbound lane of Route 52 when it collided with a 2024 First Student school bus.   The First Student Bus was transporting 43 Pine Bush students to Edward J Russell Elementary School when the collision took place, Blasko said. SUV Crashes Into Hudson Valley Home An SUV plowed into the front of a Hudson Valley home after being in a crash with a school bus.  The incident occurred in Rockland County on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at Laurel Road and Glenside Drive in New City. According to the Clarkstown Police, the SUV struck a Clarkstown Central School District bus while turning left onto Laurel Road.  A preliminary report indicated the SUV was traveling above the speed limit, causing it to veer off the roadway and strike a nearby house, police said. Driver Of Bus That Killed Mother, Son In Hudson Valley Crash Won't Face Charges: Report The 68-year-old driver of a bus that hit and killed a kindergartner and his mother while they were walking to a school in Westchester will not face criminal charges, according to reports.  In a press conference on Friday, Aug. 30, police said the bus driver involved in the crash, which happened on Thursday, June 20, and caused the death of Mamaroneck residents Michael Donovan Volpe, age 6, and his mother, 43-year-old Molly Murphy Donovan, would not be criminally charged, according to a report by ABC7.  Although he will escape charges, the driver was still issued summonses for…
