Hudson Valley Driver Rams Several Police Cars During Pursuit, Police Say Police nabbed a 26-year-old Hudson Valley man after he allegedly rammed numerous police cars during a pursuit and foot chase. The incident occurred in Orange County on Sunday, Sept. 8 in Chester. According to Chester Police Chief Daniel Doellinger, two officers, including K9 Lou, were in a marked patrol vehicle stopped at a red traffic signal on Kings Highway when a motorcycle rear-ended the vehicle. Hudson Valley Woman With Previous DWI Nabbed Again, Police Say A Hudson Valley woman was charged with alleged DWI after police received complaints of a dangerous diver. The incident occurred in Orange County around 4 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 17, in the town of Newburgh on N. Pierpont Avenue.  According to Lt. Matthew Nadolny of the Newburgh Police, officers located and stopped the vehicle and identified the driver as Michelle R. Shader, age 45, of Newburgh. 66-Year-Old Hudson Valley Man Hit, Killed While Walking A man was hit and killed by a vehicle while walking in the Hudson Valley. The incident occurred in Orange County at around 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, at Industrial Drive and Fortune Road East in Wallkill. According to Lt. 1 Dead, Another Injured In Hudson Valley Shooting, Suspect On Run Police in the Hudson Valley are searching for a suspect after one person was killed and another was injured during a shooting. The incident occurred in Orange County a little after midnight on Sunday, June 9, in the city of Newburgh. According to Mike Neppl, spokesman for the Newburgh Police, responding officers located a victim who was dead of a gunshot wound in the area of 7 Monument St. A second victim was located at Montefiore St. Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh with a non-life-threatening injury, Neppl said.
