Police Ramp-Up Patrols After Series Of Car Break-Ins In Hudson Valley Police have ramped up patrols after a series of car break-ins in the Hudson Valley over the weekend. The incidents occurred in the Airmont area during the early morning hours of Saturday, Dec. 7, and Sunday, Dec. 8, said Det. Sgt. Michael Higgins with the Ramapo Police. Northern Westchester Man Nabbed For Burglary After Returning To Crime Scene, Police Say A Northern Westchester man was hit with a felony burglary charge after allegedly stealing a vehicle and breaking into a Hudson Valley home before returning to the crime scene while police were canvassing the area, authorities said.  The burglary happened in Putnam County on Saturday, June 8, when a Mahopac resident told officers that a man had been seen on his Ring camera trying to break into his home, according to Carmel Police.  Authorities soon responded to the home and found a broken window where the suspect had been able to get inside.  Officers then searched the reside…
