Man Jailed After Driving Erratically While On Drugs In Yorktown, Police Say
A 51-year-old man is accused of driving while impaired by drugs and violating court-ordered driving restrictions in Northern Westchester, police said.
Katonah resident Nidal Isa, age 51, was arrested in Yorktown on Tuesday, Aug. 12, around 1:30 p.m., after officers received a report of an erratic driver in the area of Hallocks Mill Road, Yorktown Police said on Thursday, Aug. 14.

Drunk Driver Caught With 4-Year-Old Child In Truck In Putnam County, Police Say
A Westchester man is accused of driving drunk in Putnam County with a young child in the vehicle, police said.
The incident happened around 8:45 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 10, when a trooper stopped a Ford F-350 on Main Street in Brewster for multiple traffic violations, New York State Police announced on Monday, Aug. 11.
Police said the driver, 36-year-old Erasmo Garcia of Valhalla, showed signs of intoxication and failed standardized field sobriety tests. A 4-year-old child was in the truck at the time, authorities added.
