Hudson Valley Mother Nabbed For Beating Kids With Foam Baseball Bat, Police Say A Hudson Valley mother has been charged with allegedly beating her two children with a foam baseball bat, causing injuries. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 2:20 a.m., Monday, Oct. 7, in Stony Point. According to Lt. Daniel Schoales of the Stony Point Police, officers responded to Nyack Hospital to investigate a domestic incident. On Tuesday, July 16 at approximately 6:45 p.m. in Sullivan County, police responded to a 911 call of a child left in a vehicle at the Sleepy Hollow Apartment Complex in Monticello. Upon arrival, officers located a 2-year-old boy in a 2012 Ford Explorer suffering from cardiac arrest, New York State Police said.
