A rebuilt pier along the Hudson River is about to open up tourism and economic opportunities for a city in Northern Westchester, officials announced. A grand reopening ceremony celebrating the rebuilding and renovation of Fleischmann Pier and Charles Point Park in Peekskill will be held on Sunday, Oct. 13 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on John Walsh Boulevard, officials announced on Wednesday, Oct. 9. Popular Hudson Valley Restaurant Closes After 10 Years
A popular Hudson Valley restaurant quietly closed its doors with just a note on the door. Diners ready to eat at the P.F. Chang's in Rockland County at The Shops at Nanuet found the restaurant closed over the Labor Day weekend. A sign on the doors directed visitors to locations in Westchester County, located in White Plains, and Hackensack, New Jersey. Calls and emails to P.F. Chang's have not been returned.
