5 From Region Nabbed On Weapons Charges During Stop In Bloomingburg
Five people were nabbed on alleged weapons-related charges during a traffic stop in the region. The incident occurred in Sullivan County at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, on Route 17K in the town of Bloomingburg. Trooper Steven Nevel said troopers noticed a 2017 GMC Yukon traveling westbound on 17K, violating numerous vehicle and traffic laws. Troopers, with the assistance of the Wallkill Police Department in Orange County, made a traffic stop and identified the driver as Capital Region resident Albert Blowers, age 48, of Rensselaer, Nevel said. Drug Dealer From Region Charged With Selling Cocaine To Undercover Agent
An alleged Hudson Valley drug dealer is behind bars after selling more than two ounces of cocaine to an undercover agent following an investigation. Orange County resident Enido Isaac Rumaldo, age 20, of Port Jervis, was charged in Port Jervis on Wednesday, Oct. 16. According to City of Port Jervis Police Chief William Worden, the investigation into Rumaldo was part of a multi-agency effort by the Orange County District Attorney's Office, the Orange County Sheriff's Office, and the Orange County Drug Task Force. Shooting Update: 2 Men Injured In Region, Suspect On Run
Police are investigating after two men were shot while visiting a Hudson Valley home. The incident occurred in Orange County at 7:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18, in front of 31.5 Lake Ave. in Middletown. According to Middletown Police Lt. Jeffry Thoelen, officers responded to the area after receiving several 911 calls reporting shots fired. Officers located evidence consistent with a shooting but no injured people. Man From Region Stabbed Multiple Times During Assault
A Hudson Valley man is recovering after being stabbed multiple times during an assault. The incident occurred in Orange County around 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, in the town of Wallkill. According to Wallkill Police Lt. Robert McLymore, officers responded to an assault at 265 Route 211 E. and found a 64-year-old Middletown man. Police in the Hudson Valley are searching for three men who allegedly robbed and shot at another man outside of a popular Asian restaurant. The incident occurred in Orange County, around 12:30 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 18, in the parking lot of You You Asian Cuisine at 465 Route 211 East in Wallkill.
