Person Killed In Crash Between Car, SUV In Hudson Valley One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley. It happened at around 7:40 a.m. Saturday, July 27 on a stretch of I-84 in Orange County. New York State Police say that a preliminary investigation revealed that a small compact car was rear-ended by an SUV in the town of Newburgh, causing both vehicles to leave the roadway and the SUV to roll over.  The driver and sole occupant of the SUV was pronounced dead. 3 Dead Following Head-On Capital Region Crash Three people were killed in a head-on highway crash in the region. The Greene County wreck happened just before 5 p.m. Saturday, July 20, on Route 23 in the town of Windham. Sheriff’s officials said a Buick SUV was heading eastbound on State Route 23 when it collided with a westbound Chevrolet pickup truck near the intersection of Cross Road. Westchester Toddler Killed After Being Struck By SUV A 3-year-old girl from Westchester was killed after being struck by an SUV while crossing the street in New York City. The incident happened just after 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 11 in Manhattan at West 135th Street and Lenox Avenue, outside of Harlem Hospital. According to ABC 7, The driver of the Nissan SUV attempted to take the toddler by foot to the hospital, but she was pronounced dead. She has been identified as Jaynelyse Valdez of New Rochelle. Teen Fleeing From Police Killed In Hudson Valley Crash A 19-year-old Hudson Valley man is dead after being hit by an SUV while allegedly engaging police in a pursuit. Orange County resident Noe Dominguez, of New Hampton, a small hamlet in the town of Wawayanda, died around 7:20 p.m., Saturday, June 22, at the intersection of Route 6 and Dolson Avenue in Wawayanda.
