Man Who Traveled Across NY To Kill Ex-Wife's Partner Apprehended In Region, Police Say A man was apprehended in the region after authorities say he traveled hundreds of miles across New York to murder his ex-wife's partner. State Police troopers responded to a Columbia County 911 broadcast about the suspect on Tuesday, Sept. 17. The suspect, Andrew J. Case, age 41, of West Seneca, in Erie County, was located and arrested on Route 9 in the Columbia County town of Greenport, according to police. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 5 p.m., Thursday, on Cannon Street in the city of Poughkeepsie. According to State Police, an unmarked state police vehicle was traveling westbound on Cannon Street, attempting to locate Conrad J. ATV Mob Causes Havoc On Roadway In Region State Police are investigating a mob of ATVs and motorcycles who took over a roadway in the region, injuring one and threatening a trooper. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 4:10 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8, on Route 9D in Wappingers Falls. According to State Police Trooper AJ Hicks, troopers responded to a report of 30 to 40 motorcycles and off-highway vehicles operating "recklessly" in the roadway and on sidewalks.
