Police in the Hudson Valley are searching for three men who allegedly robbed and shot at another man outside of a popular Asian restaurant. The incident occurred in Orange County, around 12:30 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 18, in the parking lot of You You Asian Cuisine at 465 Route 211 East in Wallkill. State Trooper Suspended Without Pay After Being Accused Of Liberty Robbery
A New York State Trooper has been suspended without pay following his arrest for an alleged robbery in the region. The arrest occurred in Sullivan County in the village of Liberty on Tuesday, Aug. 13, for an incident in 2023. According to Beau Duffy, director of Public Information for the State Police, Trooper Christopher DiBartolo, age 47, was charged following an investigation into an incident that occurred outside a Liberty home in which he took personal property from the victim, who was known to him, while on duty, causing damage. A 22-year-old man has admitted to taking part in the robbery of a Hudson Valley electronics store before fleeing to Westchester with the proceeds, officials announced. Manhattan resident Aguibou Karambe pleaded guilty on Tuesday, Aug. 6 in Orange County Court to second-degree attempted robbery in connection with an incident in February 2023 that happened in the village of Monroe, Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler announced on Friday, Aug. 9. Police in the region are looking for a suspect who allegedly assaulted a Burger King clerk and robbed the restaurant after they refused his coupon. Two suspects are behind bars in connection with an armed robbery in the region. The Dutchess County incident happened at around 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 5, in the Town of Poughkeepsie’s Arlington neighborhood. A woman is recovering after she was stabbed during a robbery in the region. Albany Police were called at around 7:45 p.m. Friday, June 14, for a robbery near Washington and Lexington avenues.
