New Red Flag Warning Issued In Region The National Weather Service has issued another Red Flag Warning for the Hudson Valley as critical fire weather conditions continue despite the slight rain over the weekend.  The weather service issued the warning on Tuesday, Nov. 12, and it includes Dutchess County. They also reminded residents that potential ignition sources include cigarettes and to avoid all open burning. 2 People Rescued After Cars Crash, Flip Into Swift Water Below Parkway In Region Two people had to cross a ladder over fast-moving water to get to safety after their cars crashed and overturned next to a stream during heavy rain in Northern Westchester.  The rescue happened on Sunday, Aug. 18 at around 4:30 p.m., when two vehicles crashed and flipped on the Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown, eventually ending up in a stream 100 feet off the road, according to the Yorktown Heights Volunteer Fire Department.  Because of heavy rain that had just passed through the area, the normally small stream had turned into a "swift water scenario," the department said, …
