A Capital Region woman was nabbed for alleged drunk driving and vehicular assault after crashing into another vehicle while driving the wrong way on a busy highway. The incident occurred in Albany at 1 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 12, on the I-87 Thruway. A Hudson Valley man faces years in prison after admitting to manslaughter in a drunk-driving case that killed his 11-year-old passenger in a four-vehicle crash. Orange County resident Yeraldo Roa, age 35, of Port Jervis, pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter on Friday, Oct. 4, in a case where he was found to be driving at twice the legal limit. A patron of a local bar in Northern Westchester called the wrong friend to come pick him up, police said. The head-scratching incident began at around 2:45 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, when a Westchester County Police officer stopped a car driving erratically in Mount Kisco on Lieto Drive. Justin Timberlake formally accepted a plea deal in his alleged drunk driving case in New York. Two victims of an alleged drunk driving crash who were severely wounded remain in the hospital. The collision occurred in Greene County on Route 23 in Catskill at about 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10.
