New Barnes & Noble Coming To Hudson Valley: Here's When Book lovers, be on the lookout — an all-new Barnes & Noble location is coming to Orange County.  A new Barnes & Noble will open at the Galleria at Crystal Run in late 2026, the mall announced on Monday, Feb. 10. The upcoming locale is set to feature more than 19,000 square feet of books, toys, games, and more, as well as a new cafe.  No specific opening date has yet been announced, although the Galleria said it would be "coming soon."  This is a developing story. Starbucks Slashing 1,100 Corporate Jobs In Major Company Shake-Up Starbucks is cutting 1,100 corporate jobs as part of a sweeping restructuring plan designed to simplify operations and refocus on its core business. Starbucks CEO Brian Niccol announced the layoffs in a message to employees on Monday, Feb. 24. The job cuts will affect non-retail support employees, as the coffeehouse chain works to streamline leadership and eliminate duplicate roles. New Cafe Opens In Region Featuring Breakfast, Burgers, Greek Specialties There's a new cafe in the region serving everything from eggs and breakfast staples to Greek specialties.  In Albany County, Delaware Cafe opened on Wednesday, Aug. 14, at 180 Delaware Ave. in Delmar. It's the former location of the Delmar Bistro Space.  The restaurant announced the opening on its website.  The menu includes all of the typical cafe fare: farm-fresh eggs; pancakes; and toast, along with burgers, sandwiches, chicken tenders, and chicken souvlaki.
