Crash In Region Sends 1 To Hospital, Police Looking For Witnesses
A person was rushed to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in a busy Hudson Valley intersection. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 5:50 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 8, in the area of Route 340 and Oak Tree Road in Orangetown. According to Sgt. Robert Wentland of the Orangetown Police, the victim, a bicyclist, was struck and injured while attempting to cross the intersection of Route 340 and Oak Tree Road. Police in the Hudson Valley are asking the public for help identifying a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a bicyclist. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 8:45 p.m., Monday, July 29, near the intersection of Kings Highway and Miller Road in Valley Cottage. 13-Year-Old Riding Bicycle Struck, Killed By Vehicle On Residential Roadway In Hudson Valley
Police are investigating a crash in which a boy was killed on a residential roadway in the Hudson Valley. It happened around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 29 in Rockland County. That's when the bicyclist was struck by a vehicle in the village of Pomona at the intersection of High Mountain Road and Overlook Road. Upon arrival, units discovered the vehicle with the 13-year-old boy underneath the vehicle, said Chief John Gould Jr. of the town of Haverstraw Police Department.
