A New Jersey truck driver was involved in a fatal tractor-trailer crash on the New York State Thruway early Thursday morning, March 5, authorities said. New York State Police responded at approximately 1:25 a.m. to a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 90 westbound near mile marker 243.7 in Westmoreland, Oneida County, according to investigators. One person was killed following a collision between a car and a dump truck in the Capital Region. The Columbia County wreck happened in the town of Ghent, on State Route 9H at Falls Road, at around 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 15. Investigators were on scene of a collision between a passenger vehicle and a dump truck where one person was confirmed dead at the scene, according to New York State Police.
