Update: Girl, 11, Dies After Tragic Albany Ice-Related Drowning Incident The 11-year-old girl rescued after falling through the ice on a Capital Region lake that killed a 12-year-old boy has died. The incident occurred in Albany around 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7, at Washington Park Lake near the park's lake house. According to Albany Police, police and firefighters located and rescued the girl. Man, 71, Killed In Mountain Bike Accident At State Park In Hudson Valley A 71-year-old man was killed in a mountain bike accident at a state park in the Hudson Valley. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 3:15 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, at Tallman Mountain State Park in Orangetown. According to Trooper Steven Nevel with the New York State Police, a preliminary investigation revealed that Alido M.
