Jorge Guevara, age 49, of Bay Shore, was sentenced to 15 years behind bars in Suffolk County Court on Wednesday, Sept. 4, after a jury convicted him of attempted assault and related charges. Officers were called around 10:30 p.m. by a 43-year-old woman claiming she and Mais got into an argument and he forcibly removed her from her vehicle.
