Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Beacon 21-Year-Old Accused Of Violating Protection Order For Second Time In Month A man is facing charges after allegedly violating an order of protection while incarcerated for the second time in the span of a month, authorities said. Apple Issues 'Update Now' Warning To iPhone, iPad Users Apple is has issued what it calls an urgent update for iPhone and iPad users that it says provides protection two critical security vulnerabilities related to exploits of user data while browsing on these devices. The update to iOS 18.1.1 fixes issues in JavaScriptCore and WebKit that could allow attackers to execute malicious code through crafted web content. Woman Fatally Struck Crossing Hempstead Turnpike In Uniondale A woman was struck and killed in an overnight crash on Long Island. The incident happened at about 1:15 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, on Hempstead Turnpike near the intersection of Uniondale Avenue in Uniondale. A 25-year-old man driving a 1995 Lexus westbound on the turnpike hit the woman as she was crossing the road, according to Nassau County Police said. Man Accused Of Lewd Act At Walmart On Long Island A man is accused of committing a lewd act while following a woman inside a Long Island Walmart. Suffolk County Police said the incident happened around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the Walmart on Crooked Hill Road in Commack.
