Shots Fired Incident Leads To Dramatic Arrest Of Sullivan County Man: Police A Monticello man wanted for a 2024 shooting incident was taken into custody after a foot pursuit in which he allegedly attempted to grab a firearm. Jaimuj Tomlinson, age 21, was arrested around 10:40 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 12, following a dramatic foot pursuit on Broadway, said Lt. Mark Johnstone of the Monticello Police. Johnstone said Officer Tyrus Walker spotted Tomlinson walking on Broadway and recognized him as a suspect in the 2024 shooting on Spring Street.  During that incident, Tomlinson allegedly fired at least eight rounds from a 9mm handgun, striking a residence and a parked…

One Dead, 1 Hospitalized Following Head-On Crash In Sullivan County One man is dead, and another is hospitalized following a head-on crash in Sullivan County. The incident occurred around 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 23, at the intersection of Cignarale Road in Loch Sheldrake. According to Sullivan County Undersheriff Eric Chaboty, the crash involved a 2012 Toyota Sienna minivan driven by John Bullock, age 60, of Loch Sheldrake, and a 2015 Buick Encore operated by Benjamin DeVault, age 19, of Hurleyville.  Bullock, an Ellenville High School graduate, was traveling northbound when his vehicle collided with DeVault’s southbound Buick Encore, Chaboty said…

Woman Missing Almost 2 Weeks In Sullivan County, Sheriff Says The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help locating a woman who has been missing for almost two weeks. The Sheriff's Office said Gina F. Intranuovo, age 31, of Swan Lake, was last seen on Saturday, Dec. 7, wearing a blue winter coat, black pants, black boots, and a pink purse. Intranuovo is 5-foot-6, has brown hair and eyes, and is 180 pounds.  Anyone with information concerning Intranuovo's whereabouts is urged to contact the Sheriff's Office at 845-794-7100 ext. 1.  All calls will be kept confidential.
