Here's Latest On New Storm That Will Bring Snow To Parts Of Northeast There will be accumulating snowfall to parts of the Northeast just days after the start of spring. A storm moving in from the upper Midwest is expected to arrive in inland locations of the Northeast on Sunday, March 23. Areas around and north of the I-84 corridor will see a mix of rain and snow overnight into Monday morning, March 24, according to the National Weather Service. Farther inland, 3 to 6 inches of accumulation is possible in locations in upstate New York and northern New England shown in the darker shade of blue in the image above. In the image above, higher-than-average snowfall is predicted for those areas shown in light blue, with most areas in the Northeast are expected to receive more snow this season than last winter.
