Fatal Overnight Hit-Run Crash: 22-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Patchogue One person was killed in an overnight hit-and-run Long Island crash. The crash happened around 10:45 p.m. Monday, June 10, in  Patchogue. According to Suffolk County Police, the victim was operating a 2008 Suzuki motorcycle and traveling eastbound on Main Street when a westbound car turned left in front of the motorcycle onto Rider Avenue, causing the collision. The vehicle, described as an older, dark-colored sedan, fled southbound on Rider Avenue.
