Fairfield County Woman Accused Of Cutting Jewish Federation Ribbons Off Trees A Fairfield County woman was charged with criminal mischief for allegedly cutting down Jewish Federation blue ribbons at a town center. Sally Fattah, age 50, of Wilton, was charged on Tuesday, Jan. 23 by Wilton Police. According to Lt. Anna Tornello of the Wilton Police, Abdel was caught cutting blue ribbons off the trees at the Wilton Town Center put up by the Jewish Federation of Greater Fairfield County. Woman Charged With DUI After Almost Hitting Oncoming Cars In Wilton A Northern Westchester woman was been accused of driving intoxicated after allegedly swerving and almost hitting oncoming traffic in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Wilton on Friday, May 19 on Ridgefield Road. Wilton police conducted a traffic stop after receiving a report of a vehicle swerving over the double-yellow line and almost hitting oncoming traffic, said Wilton Police Capt. Gregg Phillipson. Erratic Driving Stop On Route 7 Leads To DUI Charge A 24-year-old local man driving erratically on Route 7 was arrested for driving under the influence. John Stalin Herrera-Mendieta of Danbury was arrested Saturday, Nov. 10 around 7:45 p.m. after Wilton Police spotted him driving his 2011 Ford Fusion erratically northbound on Route 7, said Wilton Police Sgt. Anna Tomello.  During the stop, officers found the Herrera-Mendieta was driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, police said. He was charged with DUI, driving without a license and failure to drive in the proper lane.  Herrera-Mendieta was released on $260 bond.&…
