3 Stabbed In Hudson Valley During Fight Police are investigating after three people were stabbed during a fight in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at around 12:15 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31, at Looper's Plaza, located at South Avenue and Wolcott Avenue in Beacon. According to Beacon Police Chief Thomas Figlia, the department received a 911 call regarding something happening at the plaza. The chief said that as officers responded, they located several people in South Avenue Park walking from the area toward West Center Street. One of those stopped, a 16-year-old male, was found to be bleeding.…

Suspect At Large After Fatal Shooting Of 32-Year-Old In Area Police are searching for a suspect after a man was found shot dead at a parking lot in the area. The shooting took place in the city of Beacon around 6:50 p.m., Saturday, May 14 in the Forrestal Heights housing complex. Officers responded to the parking lot located off West Center Street for a report of shots fired with one person hit, said Det. Sgt. Jason Johnson, of the city of Beacon Police.
