A physical altercation broke out at approximately 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30 on I-87 in Woodbury near the Woodbury Toll Plaza, police said, after a man and woman were involved in a dispute. Man, 21, Charged With First-Degree Rape, State Police Say A 21-year-old Fairfield County man wanted on a charge of first-degree rape is behind bars after turning himself into to New York State Police. Lucas C. Xavier, of Brookfield, is accused of forcible sexual intercourse with an unwilling party, state police said. New York State Police stopped a vehicle traveling on I-87 around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 18 in Woodbury. During the interview with the driver, 58-year-old Elton Cromedy, police established probable cause to conduct a search. During the search, police allegedly discovered the passenger, 59-year-old Willie H. Cutler, with around 57 grams of heroin as well as a glass smoking device containing crack-cocaine residue. Walker, 62, was one of the passengers in a vehicle that was pulled over in Orange County for a traffic violation, according to a New York State Police press release.
