A Hudson Valley man who admitted making ghost guns using a 3D printer has been sentenced to prison. Orange County resident Noah James McCagg, age 22, of Port Jervis, was sentenced on Monday, Oct. 30 to 10 years in prison and five years of post-release supervision in relation to his guilty plea of criminal possession of a weapon. A Hudson Valley man has pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a weapon and faces up to 10 years in prison after being caught making ghost guns on a 3D printer. 18 Arrested After Investigation Into Drug Trafficking In Hudson Valley
Eighteen suspects are facing charges in the Hudson Valley following a long-term investigation into drug smuggling and sales in Orange County, authorities announced. Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler and Port Jervis Police Chief William Worden announced that they have arrested and charged 18 people who have been linked to drug possession and sales throughout the region. Hudson Valley Man Sentenced To Prison For Selling Guns To Undercover Agent
A Hudson Valley man has been sentenced to serve years in state prison and five years post-release supervision for possessing guns sold to an undercover officer. Orange County resident Daniel Cabral, age 34, of Sparrowbush, was sentenced on Thursday, Feb. 10, for illegally selling three handguns in the Town of Deerpark in July 2021, said the Orange County District Attorney's Office. In December, Cabral pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a weapon, the DA's Office said. Sex Offender Charged For Failing To Report Move, Police Say
An area sex offender was arrested after failing to report a move in violation of the Sex Offender Registry. Marjorie Felter, 45, of Port Jervis, was arrested on Monday, March 18, after the Town of Deerpark Police Department discovered the unreported move during a routine home visit check, said Deerpark Police Police Chief Richard J Sztyndor. Felter, a Level 2 offender was living in Deerpark until October 2018 when she moved, police said. Police said under law sex offenders have 10 days to make the notification of any change of address.
