Propane Truck Rolls Over Into Embankment In Hudson Valley
A propane truck tipped over into an embankment in the Hudson Valley, causing a short road closure. On Tuesday, Nov. 1 in Putnam County, around 11:50 a.m., police and first responders were dispatched to Mahopac at Stillwater Road after the truck rolled over, according to the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department. After arriving, fire officials saw that the truck was stuck in an embankment but not leaking any propane, the fire department said. Photos: Car Crashes Into Pole In Mahopac
A driver in Putnam County escaped serious injury after crashing into a utility pole in a busy Mahopac intersection. Shortly before noon on Thursday, first responders from the Mahopac Falls Fire Department, paramedics and area police were dispatched to the intersection of Baldwin Place Road and Stillwater Road, where there was a report of a car that had crashed into a pole. One Hospitalized In Crash That Causes Route 6N Closure
One person was hospitalized Sunday in a two-vehicle crash that occurred at the intersection of Route 6N and Rose Drive/Stillwater Road in Mahopac. Mahopac Falls Fire, EMS and Fire Police quickly responded with Chief Brian Sacher taking control of the scene as Incident Command, with Capt. Dan Meury handling Operations. Dealing with heavy Sunday midday traffic, Fire police closed the southbound 6N traffic and detoured vehicles across Stillwater Rd. EMT's triaged the victims, with one being transported to Putnam Hospital with minor injuries and one refusing medical attention.
