A New York school bus aide is facing charges for allegedly showing lewd images to a child on her bus, authorities said.
Schenectady resident Sierra Cook, age 25, was arrested Monday, Nov. 28, following an investigation by State Police.
Troopers were initially contacted on Wednesday, Nov. 23, with a complaint that a child on Cook’s bus had been shown inappropriate photos while traveling from Saratoga County to a school in Albany County, police said.

The region's first blast of winter arrives Tuesday night, according to forecasters.
A Winter Weather Advisory was in effect for much of the area, including Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer, and Saratoga counties, from 10 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16.

A 19-year-old man is behind bars months after allegedly kidnapping two young girls from their Capital Region home and sexually abusing one, New York State Police said.
The man, identified by WNYT as Yusef Illeez, of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, was arrested Tuesday, Nov. 8, following a joint investigation that included State Police, Schenectady County Child Protective Services, and the FBI.
