Airborne Car Crashes Into Hudson Valley Home, Police Say An out-of-control car that went airborne after hitting an embankment struck a home in the region. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 9:15 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 30 on Route 9G in the town of Red Hook. According to Red Hook Police, the crash took place when a 2002 Subaru driven by a 41-year-old Catskills man was driving south on Walkers Hill Road when the car crossed into the northbound lane, struck an embankment, became airborne, and hit the home. 21 Charged With Driving While Impaired/Intoxicated During St. Patrick's Day Crackdown In Area Nearly two dozen drivers were busted by police for alleged impaired driving in the Hudson Valley during a St. Patrick’s Day holiday crackdown. Local law enforcement agencies in Dutchess County collaborated as part of a “High Visibility Community Engagement Campaign” that ran from Wednesday, March 16 through Sunday, March 20, leading to the arrests of 21 people for DWI-related offenses. Among the arrests was Joseph Pasqualina, age 27, of Tivoli, who allegedly took police from the Red Hook Police Department on a brief chase when they attempted to stop him for a vehicle and traffic violation.…
