Expect Delays: Work Starts At Busy Hudson Valley Intersection Traffic will likely be slowed at a busy intersection in the Hudson Valley as crews begin road work.  The intersection of Seminary Hill Road and Church Street in the Putnam County town of Carmel will be held up by road work that began on Wednesday, July 24, according to the Carmel Highway Department. Highway Department officials advised motorists in the area to "be patient and allow extra time" as the work may hold up traffic. Motorists can also use Willow Road as an alternate route around the work zone.

Man Deliberately Drives Through Detour Barricade In Area, Injures Two Road Workers, Police Say A man with 11 license suspensions has been arrested for allegedly deliberately driving his vehicle through a barricaded road that was being repaired, injuring two workers in the area.  Police arrested Sullivan County resident Jamiller Drayton, age 38, of Monticello on Thursday, June 10, following the incident.
