The incident took place on Saturday, June 1, when Red Hook Officer James Simmons responded to a call on Route 9/Fraleigh Lane in the Town of Red Hook for an unconscious male slumped over the steering wheel not breathing, the department said on Facebook. Teixeira, 48, was found unconscious inside his vehicle around 2:58 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 in the area of 59 East Market St., said Hyde Park Police Chief Robert Benson.
