Driver Crashes Vehicle While Using Cell Phone, Injures Passenger In Red Hook, Police Say Two people were injured when the driver of a car lost control of the vehicle while allegedly using a cell phone while driving and slammed into a telephone pole.The crash took place around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, on East Market Street at the intersection with Baxter Road in the village of Red Hook, said Red Hook Police.
