'Sexually Violent' Offender Reports Move Into Wingdale
A registered "sexually violent" offender convicted of raping and sodomizing a 25-year-old woman using a weapon has reported a move into Dutchess County. The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Dutchess residents regarding the residency of 51-year-old Ralph Hankerson, who has moved from Valhalla to a residence on Rock Hill Lane in Wingdale. Hudson Valley Man Indicted For Both Raping Teen, Assaulting Infant
A 22-year-old man who was arrested Thursday for severely beating a 5-month-old infant has also been charged with raping the infant's mother. Jonathan Fernando Castillo-Armijos of Sholom Court in Spring Valley, was arraigned Tuesday on four counts of rape, two counts of assault, and two counts of a criminal sexual act in connection with the repeated sexual assault of a teenaged victim and the assault of an infant, said Rockland County District Attorney Thomas P. 17-Year-Old Hudson Valley Boy Charged In Rape Of Girl, 11
A 17-year-old boy has been charged with the rape of an 11-year-old girl, according to the Spring Valley Police Department. Kevin Guallpa-Lema was arrested after Spring Valley police were contacted by Child Protective Services regarding an 11-year-old girl who was not attending school regularly, said Officer Matthew Galli. A joint investigation found that the girl was the victim of sexual abuse and Guallpa-Lema was arrested, Galli said. He was charged with rape and sexual abuse. He is being held on $50,000 bail.

Hudson Valley Man Accused Of Raping 13-Year-Old Twice, Police Say
A 25-year-old man from the Hudson Valley has been charged in connection with raping a 13-year-old girl, according to state police. On Jan. 28, New York State Police from the Pine Plains barracks and the Rhinebeck Bureau of Criminal Investigation arrested Bryan C. McGarry of Clinton for two counts of rape in the second degree, a Class D felony. McGarry was arrested for having sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old victim on two separate occasions in 2017 in the town of Pine Plains. A former NYPD lieutenant accused of raping and sexually assaulting two underage girls he knew is headed for trial in April. Judge Williams DeProspo set April 4 for the start of jury selection for Nicholas McAteer, 46, of Greenwood Lake, who faces an 82-count indictment in Orange County Court. He was arrested in August and indicted in October 2017. McAteer, who is free on $25,000 bail, is accused of raping one victim in 2003 and 2007 and then groped her in 2016. Amenia Man Arrested For Rape
A 34-year-old Dutchess County man was charged with rape following an investigation by New York State Troopers into a rape complaint. Cresson T. Horton of Amenia was arrested on Friday, Jan. 19 after troopers received a complaint from a victim who told investigators that Horton forced them to perform sexual acts, said Trooper AJ Hicks. Troopers from the Dover Plains barracks charged Horton, who was familiar with the victim, with felony rape and felony criminal sexual act, Hicks said. Horton was arraigned before the town of Amenia Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.…
