Family Pets Killed In Beekman House Fire A family lost several pets after a fire ravaged a Beekman home while nobody was home. The fire began around 6 p.m. Monday, March 4, at 65 Pleasant Ridge Road, said Beekman Fire Chief Greg Rayburn. Rayburn said the dogs and cats perished, most likely from smoke inhalation, the chief said. He was not sure of the number of animals.
