In another sign that New York is in full recovery mode from the COVID-19 pandemic, the state announced that it will be closing down its drive-through testing site in Westchester, the first hotspot for the virus when the outbreak began. Concert Planned For NYC's Central Park, Bruce Springsteen To Reopen Broadway
New York is back in an “Empire State of Mind” as it plans for a massive summer concert produced by Clive Davis in Central Park featuring music superstars to celebrate the country’s recovery from the COVID pandemic. 19: NY To Change Policy For Domestic Travelers
New York is loosening the restrictions on travelers coming into the state as the recovery from the COVID-19 holiday season surge continues. Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that beginning on Thursday, April 1, domestic travelers will no longer be required to quarantine after entering New York from another state or territory. Mandatory quarantines will still be required for international travelers coming into New York. 19: Some NY Regions Expect Move To Third Of Four-Phase Reopening Process This Week
The light at the end of the tunnel is inching closer for some regions of New York as the state continues slowly reopening the economy as it recovers from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Central New York, the Finger Lakes, and the Southern Tier are all on track to potentially enter Phase 3 of their reopening plans as soon as Friday, June 12, provided they continue meeting the requirements set forth by the state.
