Shoppers in the Hudson Valley who hate walking the mall or need help getting around will soon be able to rent an electric scooter or "Scoozer." Located in Rockland County at the Palisades Center in West Nyack, a four-story mall with 17 restaurants, a comedy club, and more, said the "Scoozer" program offers shoppers an innovative way to navigate the expansive center. Supporters of President Donald Trump were out in full force over the weekend, with caravans of vehicles draped with banners supporting the president stopping traffic on various busy roadways, including the new Tappan Zee Bridge. Parents Will Be Held Accountable If They Violate Rockland State Of Emergency, County Exec Says
Under Rockland County's new state of emergency addressing the "measles outbreak," parents could face a misdemeanor charge and be fined if their unvaccinated child violates the declaration. Another traditional brick-and-mortar retailer will soon be shuttering its doors in the Hudson Valley. Charlotte Russe Holding Corp., which operates Charlotte Russe, a fashion brand for females filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection over the weekend, impacted local stores. The company announced that it is planning to close 94 stores, including locations at the Jefferson Valley Mall in Yorktown Heights and Rockland Plaza on Route 59 in Nanuet.
