Subtropical Storm Nicole Forms In Atlantic, Heads Toward US: Here's Projected Timing, Track
With three-and-a-half weeks left in the 2022 hurricane season, a new subtropical storm has formed in the Atlantic. Nicole, located about 490 miles east of the Bahamas as of early Monday afternoon, Nov. 7, is moving northwest. A turn westward or west-southwestward is forecast Tuesday, Nov. 8 through early Thursday, Nov. 10, the National Hurricane Center said. Here's Timing For Cold Front Bringing Change To Region, Latest On Storm Brewing In Atlantic
There will be one more day of a springlike stretch of weather before a cold front moves through the region followed by potential impacts from a storm system developing in the Atlantic. The high temperature on Monday, Nov. 7 will reach the mid-70s under mainly sunny skies before the front moves across the region during the day, according to the National Weather Service. A springlike stretch of weather will finally come to an end as a cold front moves through the region followed by potential impacts from a storm system developing in the Atlantic. The cold front is gradually approaching on Sunday, Nov. 6, and will move through on Monday, Nov. 7, according to the National Weather Service.
