Fatal Crash: 26-Year-Old Woman Hits 2 Utility Poles In Newtown A 26-year-old woman was killed after losing control of her SUV and hitting two utility poles in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Newtown around 8:30 p.m., Thursday, April 20 on Berkshire Road.  Newtown Police, along with Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire and Newtown Ambulance responded to a single-vehicle crash on Berkshire Road between Sherman Street and Zoar Road, said Sgt.
